چکیده

Abstract Background Children with spastic diplegia experience gait abnormalities and problems caused by deficits in balance, motor control, spasticity. Abnormal pelvic inclination is common patients which may result poor balance. Purpose This study was conducted to investigate the relation between standing balance children diplegia. Subjects methods Thirty diplegic cerebral palsy from both sexes, aged 5 14 years participated this study. Their degree of spasticity ranged 1 1+ according Modified Ashworth Scale they were on level I or II Gross Motor Function Classification System. Pelvic angle measured using formetric instrumentation system during position while assessed Biodex Balance Results There a statistically significant overall, anteroposterior, mediolateral stability indices ( P < 0.05). Conclusion The obtained results suggested that there correlation palsy.

Dynamic Balance During Gait in Children With Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy Versus Normal Children

Purpose: Cerebral Palsy (CP) can negatively affect dynamic stability in children with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy during walking. This condition results in a high risk of falling. There is limited evidence regarding the dynamic stability of children with Cerebral Palsy. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the dynamic stability of children with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy, compared to ...
